Hey Readers,
We’re just about a month into the new year! How’s it going so far? Smooth and clear or a bit bumpy?
Both are normal when you are on course.
If you’re in the zone: enjoy the rush of wind in your hair, the warm sun on your face and the beautiful, expansive view. Fully experience these times, celebrate them, so storing them within as future fuel. Track and acknowledge in your strategic plan or in a treasure jar or in your journal, whatever is easy and fun for you.
And don’t let those bumps confuse, discourage or stop you. Obstacles are usually opportunities and as Thomas Edison said we usually miss them because they are dressed in overalls and look like work. Worse yet they can look like punishment, feel like regret and cause you to question your choices and yourself.
If you set your course for the year or at least the first 90 days using strategic planning tips I shared in late December and early January, then it can feel like a colossal waste of resources to have done that work and begun implementing only to run up against roadblocks or go around the same mountain once again.
So, be encouraged and know that any of those things noted above are flags, just a request for attention and an invitation to opportunity. And the opportunity is usually to create a new perspective or a new way of thinking that will support you like ropes and harnesses do a rock climber as you make your way to the next level.
Last week, I asked: What “law” (perspective, way of thinking, “should”, belief, expectation, fear, etc.) is blocking your progress? Holding you back?
In this week’s audio, I’ll walk you through how to get into those overalls and embrace the work to create a new “law” that honors who you are at the core and supports where you are being called to go.
In Love and Strength,
Ginny
P.S. ~ A warm welcome to all of you new readers who joined our community of creative entrepreneurs since last week, you’re going to love the resources you find here to help you navigate your vision of success to victory.
