Hey %$name$%~

After working with over 300 of you - women, a few men and creative entrepreneurs all, it became clear to me that there were three primary things that you wanted from your coaching: to build confidence, relationships and wealth.

All of you want to have a successful and productive business and a fulfilling life and yet all of your specific topics and walk-aways related to one of these three topics.

As those of you who have worked with me know.I always start with who you are - at the core. You may have heard the phrase "use your core". Yoga and Pilates practioners in particular focus on the core muscles of your body and now personal trainers are doing the same. Why? Because those are the powerhouse muscles.when they are activated, any activity you engage in becomes more productive and efficient with increased safety. Whether it's aerobics, standing all day at a trade show, Pilates, carrying your purse and computer, or lifting a child.you will notice the power and ease that comes from using your core.

The same is true in your life and business. When you live from the core of who you are, you will experience that same power and ease and realize the confidence, relationships and wealth you are looking for.

You'll notice that I'm now branded under my name: Ginny Victory (www.ginnyvictory.com) with the tagline: powerfully chosen...powerful choices. I made the switch to incorporating and branding in this way as it articulated the end result I want you to walk away with.

Knowing that you've been powerfully chosen. So you know who you are at the core, and know the value, worth and impact of your existence~of just being. You.

Knowing that as a result you make powerful choices. Once you know the specifics of the way you've been designed and how all of the many facets relate to one another and link in the center - at the core - everything is in alignment and you'll: have a lens to look through to find focus, criteria for decision-making, words for communicating, understanding of why you do the things you do and what to do about it, no longer feel like a fraud, have renewed energy, have work-life balance and be far more efficient, productive, and successful than you imagined.

Powerfully Chosen..Powerful Choices

Gemstones is the new ezine designed to support you in achieving this result in all areas of your life and business so you experience improved confidence, relationships and wealth.

article - trusting and reinventing

As you read in the email blast I sent at the end of May, women entrepreneurs.all business owners have the opportunity to make a huge impact in the economy even as you are impacting the world for the specific reason you started your business.

Many of you are still struggling and rebounding and can hardly fathom such a lofty idea no matter your level of revenues: $50,000 to over $5 million.everyone is in the same boat: reinventing.

Meet my client Felicia.she reinvented her business by trusting her core.

Felicia is in a service business and in the past, provided consulting for corporations. Last December we began a strategic planning process for 2010. She detailed out the 12/31/10 goals and we started to create a plan. In the process I could hear the goals that were resonant for her and the areas where traditional business said to focus. As I pointed this out to her she agreed and admitted that she was attached to conventional business wisdom and wanted to stay focused here as it has the most credibility and the largest revenue potential (at least in this business model). So we completed the planning process in this manner.

What do you think happened? Not much. For the first four months of the year she felt weighed down, faced a lost of "closed doors" and ties to obligation and what she "should" do rather than following the true desires of her heart. This drove Felicia to get honest with herself about what she believed and what she really wanted to do. As she loves research she began to search the internet for information about her desires and interests. At the end of April she emerged with a revelation: her 'deepest desire met a need in the world' (Fred Buechner). Small businesses were having a hard time standing out among the competition and were looking for the type of intelligent information she provided to gain new contract and revenue opportunities.

Over the course of her coaching we've put together a clear picture of the core of who she is. In December, we knew her personality, gifts, strengths, impact and purpose. The two most relevant pieces we knew were 1. her primary motivator: to be the go-to person for revenue-generating research and information and 2. her interests: small and minority-owned businesses. Felicia's research confirmed what we knew in her December strategic planning session: that the goals she needs to focus on in 2010 are the ones that support small businesses by providing the intelligent information they need to apply to gain new profitable business leads before their competition and to stand out in the marketplace.

She quickly revised her strategic plan and May was a whirlwind of activity and results: new company name, new branding, new business model, repackaging of services and products, press releases and new opportunities for her company to provide a series of entrepreneurial workshops for those hit hard by the economy.

What happened this time? She decided to trust herself. Felicia decided to start on the inside and go with her wisdom v. conventional wisdom ~ which is no longer applicable in this economy. In trusting her core, Felicia is experiencing "a sense of elation, lightness and creativity around new goals and what the future holds. A sense, a feeling of invincibility or as Pattie LaBelle sings it ~ 'I got a new attitude."

  • What is that still small voice whispering to you?
  • Where do you need to trust yourself?
  • In what ways will you reinvent?
  • What action will you take today?
